Men's Club and USY at the Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival
Sun, Oct 17 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Help the Men's Club team, "The Wandering Que," defend their 2019 trophy at this year's Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival! There is much prep work to be done on Thursday evening, October 14, as well as during the overnight cook on Saturday, October 16. We are looking for a few volunteers to bring their barbecue skills and expertise to help us achieve two wins in a row! Bring the family, taste the deliciousness, and support your AA Men's Club!
Get a taste of the festival. The 2019 Festival was filmed by Adam Hirsch (Men's Club president and acclaimed Atlanta director) and his award-winning film crew led by Jacob Ross. The footage was featured in their documentary, No Pork on the Fork, which premiered at the 2020 Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.
Grab your picnic blanket and camping chair, and join Chai USY and USYers (9th – 12th graders) from all over Atlanta at this year's Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival! You'll have the opportunity to taste the delicious barbecue made by some of the participating teams, including AA Men's Club's own "The Wandering Que." Vegetarian and impossible options will be available. The cost to participate is $10 person and includes five tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets are available for purchase. Register
