mAAc Tour of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum ⏺️

Thu, May 1 @ 1:00 pm4:00 pm

Join the Mature Active Adult Community (mAAc) for a tour of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum! Join us for an exclusive and inspiring tour of the Carter Presidential Library and Museum, featuring a special opportunity to meet Paige Alexander, CEO of the Carter Center, and a tour of President and Mrs. Carter's offices. Step into history as you explore one of the museum's most compelling highlights—the story of President Carter's groundbreaking peace talks between Israel and the Arab nations, an achievement that earned him the Nobel Peace Prize. Plus, don't miss the special exhibit, The Nature of the Man: Landscapes from the Childhood of Jimmy Carter by John L. Cleaveland, Jr., offering a breathtaking glimpse into the places that shaped the 39th president.

Lunch will be available in the "Kitchen at Copenhill." If you plan to enjoy lunch before the tour, please arrive by 12:15 p.m. (The cafe is cashless, so please bring a debit/credit card.) If you prefer to join us just for the tour, please plan to arrive by 12:50 p.m. The tour will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person for mAAc members and $15 for non-mAAc members. Registration is required by Friday, April 25.
