High Holiday Prep: Understanding Rosh Hashanah

Thu, Aug 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Rabbi Rosenthal for a look into the symbols, concepts, and meaning of the Rosh Hashanah service. What is the meaning of this Jewish New Year? What is repentance? How do we do Tshuva? Why apples and honey? Come and learn the stories and ideas that make the High Holidays so important for the Jewish community and the Jewish soul.

This learning opportunity will take place at the home of Rabbi Rosenthal, so RSVP is required for the address and to ensure space. Please RSVP to Jill Rosner (jrosner@aasynagogue.org). With the rise of the Covid-19 Delta Variant, infections, and hospitalizations, this class will now be held virtually only. No RSVP required.
