We now require all in-person attendees of services, study groups, meetings, and other synagogue functions to be fully vaccinated. Exceptions to this policy will be extended only to (i) individuals whose physicians have advised against receiving the vaccine (with such advise evidenced in writing) and (ii) children under 12 years old until such time as they can be fully vaccinated pursuant to FDA authorization and CDC recommendation guidelines. In addition, masks must be worn at all times inside the building.
Hebrew Reading Improvement Class
Mar 15, 2022 @ 7:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating indefinitely
Join us every Tuesday for Hebrew Reading Improvement Class, led by Hebrew instructor, Jim Dricker. This class functions as a "drop-in" for anyone who wishes to practice reading Hebrew to improve their fluency skills. Each session will stand alone, so weekly attendance is not required. Using passages from the Hebrew prayer book and bible, participants will receive guidance on practice-reading, looking for syllables, and dealing with complex words. Though there may be some discussion about word origins, this class will not deal with the complexity of verbs, grammar, or translation. No textbook is required; the instructor will provide all material by way of screen-sharing during the Zoom session.
