2026 HUNGER WALK + RUN

Save The Date + Donate Now!

03.15

Fundraising for this AA Synagogue tradition and mitzvah has already begun. You can include the Atlanta Community Food Bank's annual Hunger Walk with your year-end donations.

Starting in 2026, new Federal legislation will introduce significant changes to charitable tax deductions. One of these changes includes a new floor for itemized deductions. Itemizers can only deduct charitable gifts that exceed 0.5% of their adjusted gross income, AGI. For taxpayers who do not itemize, they can deduct up to $ 1,000 (single) or $ 2,000 in cash gifts to qualified charities. Taxpayers in the 37% tax bracket can claim a charitable donation deduction capped at 35% of the gift's value.

These upcoming changes may make your charitable gifts more valuable in 2025.

If you plan to support the Atlanta Community Food Bank's Annual Hunger/Walk Run 2026 and our synagogue team, Sally's Friends, please consider sending your check before the end of the year.

The website won't be live until early January for registration and donations!
