Hazzan Candidate Visit—Helene Kates 🔀

Come and welcome Hazzan Helene Kates to our community for a special weekend. In addition to serving as this year's High Holiday cantor, the synagogue leadership is exploring the possibility of a more prolonged engagement with Hazzan Kates as our congregation's next full-time clergy member. Come and join her for singing, prayer, learning, and more. We look forward to your participation and feedback as we explore this exciting opportunity for our community.

- 6:00 p.m.: Shabbat Evening Service with Hazzan Helene Kates 🔀 (Ellman Chapel and Zoom)
- Saturday, August 24
- 9:30 a.m.: Shabbat Morning Service with Hazzan Helene Kates 🔀—Helene will lead the service and offer a special Torah-centered story. (Ellman Chapel and Zoom)
- 12:30 p.m.: Rebbe's Tish Honoring Torah Study Leaders 🔀—Join the Torah Study facilitators and Hazzan Helene Kates for kiddush, singing, and some Torah wisdom. (Srochi Auditorium and Zoom)
- 7:15 p.m.: Mincha, Seudah Sheleshet, Ma'ariv, Havdallah 🔀—Join Hazzan Helene Kates to end Shabbat with some learning. (Ellman Chapel and Zoom)
- Sunday, August 25
- 9:30 a.m.: Songs and Prayer with Hazzan Helene Kates ⏺️—Kesher students and families will be treated to song leading and prayer exploration with Hazzan Helene Kates. (Paradies Hall)
