DESCRIPTION:Please join AA's Greening Group in planting daffodil bulbs as part of The Daffodil Project. The goal of The Daffodil Project is to plant 1.5 million daffodils around the world in memory of the children who perished in the Holocaust. In the face of rising antisemitism\, our actions in planting these daffodils have added significance. This year\, we'll plant the bulbs in AA's front lawn. \nWe'll supply garden gloves and tools. DESCRIPTION:Bring your dogs\, cats\, birds\, lizards\, or other animals to receive a special blessing from the Rabbi to start the New Year! Join us for this relaxed get-together as we welcome pets of all shapes and sizes (leashed or in a carrier) for a blessing symbolizing our appreciation for the joy and companionship they bring into our lives. Bring a photograph or a cherished memento if your pet cannot attend. During the week\, our Jewish tradition studies the Torah portion of Noah\, when we honor the animals saved from the flood and Noah and his family who saved them. \nWe'll have goody bags for your pets\, some noshes for the humans\, and pet-related vendors\, including a dog trainer ready to share tips for bringing out the best in your dog. Of course\, this is a chance to meet and share stories with fellow pet parents. We look forward to seeing you and your furry\, feathered\, or scaly friends at this joyful gathering! \nThis event is free to attend\, and registration is not required. \nQuestions?
