DESCRIPTION:Environmental Justice as a Spiritual Practice of Awe and Wonder\nJoin our AAGreening Group for a very special Sustainability Shabbat. As we head into summer and plan to spend more time outside\, enjoying the weather\, there couldn't be a better time to bring attention to the awe and wonder of our natural world. Water falls from the sky (i.e.\, rain)\, and we are fed; the sun shines a light on the earth\, and we are warmed; plants grow—Miraculous. Come and learn how protecting and sustaining the earth is a core spiritual practice of our Jewish tradition. Following service\, we will have a gourmet Vegan lunch\, complete with our fanciest flatware\, to highlight how sustainable and renewable go hand in hand. Also\, join us for a special Rebbe's Tish during lunch for learning and singing focused on the splendor of the planet Earth. \n Join Via Zoom

DESCRIPTION:Ahavath Achim Synagogue has been a proud participating organization of Habitat for Humanity NW Metro Atlanta's Interfaith Build for over 25 years! This year\, we'll be joining Temple Kol Emett and Temple Sinai for this meaningful mitzvah! Eight volunteers are needed for this year's build.
