DESCRIPTION:Bring your dogs\, cats\, birds\, lizards\, or other animals to receive a special blessing from the Rabbi to start the New Year! Join us for this relaxed get-together as we welcome pets of all shapes and sizes (leashed or in a carrier) for a blessing symbolizing our appreciation for the joy and companionship they bring into our lives. Bring a photograph or a cherished memento if your pet cannot attend. During the week\, our Jewish tradition studies the Torah portion of Noah\, when we honor the animals saved from the flood and Noah and his family who saved them. \nWe'll have goody bags for your pets\, some noshes for the humans\, and pet-related vendors\, including a dog trainer ready to share tips for bringing out the best in your dog. Of course\, this is a chance to meet and share stories with fellow pet parents. We look forward to seeing you and your furry\, feathered\, or scaly friends at this joyful gathering! \nThis event is free to attend\, and registration is not required. \nQuestions?
