SUMMARY:Passover Family Shabbat Experience ⏺️
DESCRIPTION:Join us one Saturday a month for our new Family and Kesher Shabbat Experience! We will offer a genuine synagogue and community experience with special opportunities for our children to authentically experience Shabbat with their community\, gain comfort in sanctuary space\, rituals\, and prayer\, and prepare for his/her B'nai Mitzvah. Parents\, grandparents\, and special friends will have the opportunity to engage in these meaningful Jewish experiences with their children\, grandchildren\, and special friends. \nSpecial Passover Family Shabbat Schedule: \n\n9–9:45 a.m.: Pre-B'nai Mitzvah Cohort\n9:30–10:00 a.m.: Breakfast\n10–11:15 a.m.: Kesher Classes (families can play games\, join services\, or go to Torah Study)\n11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.: Family-Friendly Passover Seder for the AA Community\n12:15–12:30 p.m.: Everyone to Main Sanctuary\n12:30 p.m.: Everyone to Oneg\n\nDates: September 7\, November 2\, December 7*\, January 11*\, February 1\, March 1*\, April 5\, May 3 \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Join Eden Levine as she co-hosts How to Make a Home\, a play by Out of Hand Theater\, as part of her Bat Mitzvah project to raise awareness about homelessness in Atlanta. \nHow to Make a Home\, part of Out of Hand Theater's "Shows in Homes" season\, is Amina McIntyre's original one-act play\, following Antonio\, a single father\, as he navigates Atlanta's Continuum of Care system to secure stable housing for himself and his ten-year-old daughter. Antonio contends with the frustrations of bureaucratic obstacles and daily life stressors\, striving to maintain hope while providing for his child. Through his story\, the play offers an emotional insight into the realities of homelessness and highlights available services for those in need. \nEnjoy an evening of inspired theater and thought-provoking conversation\, and learn ways to take action to create a more equitable world! \nTickets are $33 or $23 for students and seniors. \nQuestions?
