mAAc Oakland Cemetery Tour

Sun, Jun 6 @ 10:30 am

Join mAAc (Mature Active Adult Community) for a tour of the Jewish grounds of  Oakland Cemetery, a treasure chest of Atlanta History. Doris Goldstein will share with us her wealth of knowledge on the Victorian era monument art and some of the famous Jewish people buried there. If you are interested, you may also visit the graves of famous Atlantans such as Bobby Jones and Margaret Mitchell after the tour. We will meet at the entrance just inside the archway. Parking is available in a lot just outside the front gate or along the street of both MLK Jr. Dr. SE and Oakland Avenue.

This event is free, but registration is requested for planning purposes. The deadline to register is Wednesday, June 1 (link below).
