Grandparents Shabbat
Sep 10, 2022 @ 10:30 am–1:00 pm

National Grandparents Day is Sunday, September 11, so we are celebrating with an interactive, multi-generational Shabbat morning service the day before! Our regular Shabbat morning service begins at 9:30 a.m., but we encourage families to join at 10:30 a.m. for special honors, a Torah procession, and a family-focused sermon. Families with younger children are invited to join us for a break-off musical service (a.k.a. Family Shabbat) with Rabbi Blustin at 11:15 a.m. All are welcome to stay for an expanded kiddush directly following services.
We look forward to celebrating and connecting with grandparents near and far, in person and via zoom. Grandparents and grandchildren who come in-person will take home a Rosh Hashanah themed craft kit to create together.
Please RSVP by Wednesday, September 7 to the Director of Education: Sharon Graetz (sgraetz@aasynagogue.org; 404.603.5754).
